Penny rang pretending to be from one of the local real estate agents in my suburb. Explained her agency is about to release an app and they wanted to list my business on their app for free. She mentioned they can also provide a free electronic business card etc etc. later in the conversation she mentioned she wanted to list my business on their website and there would be a fee of $495. She wanted my credit card details.
After the conversation I researched her mobile number 0413796492 and found it was linked to App Nation which has a lot of complaints and reports of scams.
I quickly contacted my bank and cancelled my credit card.
I contacted the real estate agent and told them about the scam.
I called Penny back and asked which company she really works for. She explained she works for Telco100.
I did some more researching and found App Nation went into liquidation and changed their name to Telco100.

Rang about a great deal whereby I could appear on a local Real Estate Agents app and also have a mobile app built for my business. Wanted my credit card details immediately to lock it in. Said to send me thru an email first so I could have a look into it further.Company is App Nation and they have alot of complaints if you google them. Have declined the offer
