The same thing happened to me, a guy called, saying he was from Claims Management Brisbane (company doesn't exist) and that my roommate had been in a car accident with her car recently. We don't have a car and she's never been in a car accident. He knew our address and her full name. He identified his name as Nelson then I said I'd pass alone a message and got this number off him then hung up.

Same here. Some indian dick-head from a call centre. He wouldn't shut up till i hung up the phone.

I've received multiple calls from this phone number: (07) 31068986 claiming I can receive compensation from a recent "minor" car accident which someone at this residence apparently had in the last two years.

They requested my personal details which I would not give them. They said they are from CMC (Claims Management Company) in Brisbane.
