Australia Reverse Phone Lookup

I received a number of calls with a robotic voice to call back. finally got onto one of them impersonating a federal ATO worker.

VERY SUFFISTICATED SCAM........FREAKED .ME OUT...stating if I did not process a payment today for tax evasion from an audit of my tax returns from 2008-2012. I would have an arrest warrant issued

DO NOT UNDER ANY SITUATION GIVE DOB OR BANK DETAILS AS THEY ARE A SCAM

Tax evasion scam. REALLY freaked me out because I had NO idea what was going on. When the dude started to ask me to do weird stuff like 'withdraw the cash, get a tax card from your local post office, bring it back and 2 men will come and pick up the card from you when they deliver your something-or-other documents"...Are you for REAL dude?

After interrogation, he hung up on me - not before making some serious threats about my doomed future.

It's completely outrageous!
And I'm sure they're trackable.....

I, too, have received two messages from this scammer today.

This number has called many time state similar to the comments above. Does anybody know how we stop them?

I received a call stating if I did not process a payment today for tax evasion from an audit of my tax returns from 2008-2012. I would have an arrest warrant issued and my children would be put in foster care immediately. How about this Marvin Smith who called me be arrested for impersonating a federal officer.

Left a message stating they were the DPP's office in Queensland. Scam call about tax evasion.

Rang and left text 2 message stating they were from the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions Headquarters in Queensland but left no reason for the call

Message left on voice mail about tax evasion and house being under surveillance.
Assuming totally shonky as I haven't evaded any tax.

Received a miss call from this number automated message left saying I was under investigation for tax evasion and my address was under surveillance and to contact them back. No one answered, just has a message bank with no business details.

Received threatening phone message advising under surveillance for tax invoice and need to call this number immediately

This number has been ringing me stating im under investigation and to contact them back but when i do their is no person answering the line it just has a message bank with no business details.
