Received a sms reminder to pay and a website address and this number given. I have a direct debit arrangement so thought it a bit strange.

Have had 2 txt messages. First for overdue account, second for same amount overdue on closed account, must pay to avoid default listing. don't think Origin even supply electricity in WA.

Same here I received a text from Origin. Interesting enough the text came from the same text reminders I normally receive from Origin but the account quoted was incorrect. So I googled the 1300 number provided and found this scam reporting site.
These scammers are getting very shifty!

Two text messages as false Origin reminders I have an overdue account of $701.89. Had me a bit but cannot find my bill to suit so was suspicious.

Received text saying we have overdue electricity bill of $219.40.
Ask to pay origin.com.au/pay/133001242482 or call 1300360986. WE DO NOT HAVE SUCH ACCOUNT. PLEASE DO NOT FALL PREY TO THIS SCAM.

It says that I am owing origin gas company 164 rollers I don't don't have a account with them
