Australia Reverse Phone Lookup

I too had a warning message pop up on my computer screen saying Error #268D3 and if I did not call the number my computer would be shut down to protect the Microsoft network. ROT. I was not even accessing anything remotely to do with the Microsoft network! Just pull the Ethernet cable plug out immediately you see the message if worried, restart and continue (After replacing the Ethernet cable). Nothing bad will happen.

Seems like a scam. My friend got a pop up message on his laptop to call this number to unlock. He called the number and a guy tried to get an access to his computer. Beware!

A warning message popped up on my screen stating my computer was being hacked and my bank details were being taken. It said ring this number for help, I rang the number and the technician asked if he could have access to my screen which I stupidly gave him. He checked my computer security details and told me I should purchase better security software. He then gave me 3 options to purchase software from a 2nd party as he was not able to sell it to me directly. I declined the offer, since then I have been receiving fake emails from my bank.

I just had the same warning message pop up to me. Scared me so I called it but as I was put on 'hold' I googled it and found this so I hung up.
worried if I should be changing my passwords to things or not.
