Received a text purporting to be from Telstra saying they had been trying to contact me re data usage on my account. Said I should phone the above number between 9am and 5pm.

It didn't read right so I phoned Telstra on their customer support number obtained from their website. Call taker advised me the text was a scam and not to call the 1800 number.

Originating number for the text was +61 8 357872
